AUBREY URBAN joined JCCC Theatre after working several years as a talent agent in NYC with Innovative Artists Talent and Literary Agency. With an MFA in Producing from California Institute of the Arts, she’s worked onstage, backstage, as well as in front and behind the camera in film and commercials. She has worked both artistically and administratively in many professional theaters, including Barrington Stage Company, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Trinity Repertory Company and LA’s REDCAT. She’s also worked with Hallmark Cards, Inc., in the casting and production of photography and commercials. In addition to directing, acting, and teaching, Aubrey is a qualified Intimacy Director, certified through IDC, a SAG-AFTRA accredited Intimacy Training Program. She serves as the Intimacy Coach & Consultant for all JCCC Theatre productions. Additionally, she was awarded the Lieberman Teaching Excellence Award for Adjunct Faculty in 2018, one of the most significant honors given at JCCC.
