Lee Tubbs brings a passion for clinical instruction and mentoring to the classroom, celebrating a true homecoming as he returns to his alma mater, Johnson County Community College, where his own academic journey first began in 2010. He proudly built upon this strong foundation by subsequently graduating from the University of Kansas in 2021.

His professional background includes working as a Respiratory Therapist and as a Clinical Research Associate, alongside holding credentials as a PALS Instructor and Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C). In addition to being a dedicated member of the AARC and NBRC, he has proudly served as a Clinical Advisory Board member for respiratory programs at both JCCC and KU. By bringing his real-world clinical expertise and leadership experience into his teaching, Lee strives to ensure his students feel supported and inspired to confidently excel in their careers.

Outside of shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals, Lee sings with the 2016 International Silver Medalist Men's A Cappella Group, Central Standard. Lee and his husband Joe have remodeled their entire home themselves and are engaged in community service.
