Jason Mueller has logged 33 years of teaching as well numerous years coaching, 18 have been at JCCC teaching the railroad welding classes. He was introduced to arc welding at age 10 and has always felt at home in any lab /shop or in the field. He has owned and operated his own mobile repair business and has also worked out in industry during weekends and summers. Mueller is a hands-on enthusiastic instructor who wants to motivate students to rise above their own expectations. He is proud to be part of NARS because it provides high-quality, specific, technical training to the railroad industry. In his leisure time he likes all types of outdoor activities, traveling, hunting, fishing, target shooting, sports and doing metal repair/fabrication.
