Program Expected Levels of Achievement (ELA):
- Program Completion: Completion is defined by ACEN as the percentage of those who complete the program of study “on time” per the program plan. Any traditional student who starts the program in the fall and completes two years later in May is considered an on-time completer. Any LPN-RN bridge student who starts in the summer and completes the following spring is considered an on-time completer. “Ultimate” completion considers those students who exit and re-enter the program and ultimately complete within 6 semesters. Ultimate completion is defined as the percentage of those who complete upon re-entry within 12 months of their original anticipated graduation (e.g., a student who originally would have graduated in May 2021, exits and re-enters, and graduates in May 2022). [Prior to 2022, Program Completion was defined as the percentage of students completing within 150% of the program length—six semesters]
AGGREGATE | TRADITIONAL | LPN-RN TRANSITION |
On-Time 65% | On-Time 65% | On-Time 75% |
Ultimate 70% | Ultimate 70% | Ultimate 80% |
- NCLEX-RN Pass Rate: Eighty-five percent of graduates will pass the NCLEX-RN on the first attempt. A rolling three (3) years’ average (most recent three years) will be considered in this ELA.
- Job Acquisition: 90% of graduates who reply to the follow-up completer survey will be placed in a job within one year of graduation.
- Graduate Satisfaction: 85% of those graduates who reply to the follow-up completer survey will report being satisfied with the AD Nursing Program.
- Employer Satisfaction: 85% of those employers who reply to the follow-up completer survey will report being satisfied with the JCCC nursing graduates.
