In most cases, an absence will result in the student being dropped.
  • There will be tests daily or weekly depending on the length of the program.
  • Clinical experiences are scheduled at long-term care facilities as part of the course.
  • In the laboratory and clinical experience, you will be expected to have physical strength that includes the ability to push and pull 50 lbs., support 50 lbs., lift 50 lbs., move light objects weighing up to 10 lobs., move heavy objects weighing from 11 to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs., to frequently stop/kneel/crouch and stand or walk as needed
  • After successful completion of the course, you will be prepared to take the Kansas State CNA exam. The exams are scheduled after the end date of the course.
