Instructors have provided the following information to generally describe what to expect in their classes.

Math

Class Format

Face-to-face only. Daily lesson plans are provided for all classes. The instructional format is guided, contemplative and interactive.

Resource Use

Textbooks: Required in all classes.

Calculators: Graphing calculator are required for College Algebra and above.

Assessment

3 or 4 in-class exams plus a comprehensive final.

Grading Scale:

A = 90%

B = 80%

C = 70%

D = 60%

F = below 60%

Homework Policy

1. Homework will be assigned daily.

2. Homework will not be collected.

3. Homework solutions are provided daily in both verbal and written forms.

Attendance Policy

1. Students are expected to attend every lecture that is given by the instructor.

2. Students are held responsible for all material covered in lectures, and for all assignments and announcements made in class.

3. The instructor reserves the right to modify the time and the date schedules and procedures listed in Course Syllabus. Any such changes will be announced in class. It is the students’ responsibility to keep informed of such changes.
