Empower an individual or community to make positive changes toward higher levels of health and overall wellness while preparing for a career as a wellness or health professional.

The Health and Wellness program at JCCC is a great way to stay active and meet both personal and professional goals.

What will I learn in JCCC’s Health and Wellness Programs?

Prepare for positions in schools, fitness facilities or work settings along with many allied health fields. In JCCC’s Health and Wellness program, you will study and adapt methods of maintaining overall health and wellness.

JCCC employs highly trained professionals in all areas of health and wellness. Each staff member has advanced-level qualifications in physical education or related fields.

Program electives allow you to pursue and develop areas of interest for transfer to 4-year institutions.

Our Personal Training certificate program gives you the credentials to obtain a job in the fitness/wellness industry. The program emphasizes credit classes that help you develop the knowledge and skills to succeed in physical activity and exercise settings.

Consider an athletic training track, sports management track or exercise science track to an associate degree. You can also be set up for the next level with a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year school. Meet with a JCCC counselor if you intend to transfer.
