Health Care Interpreting
Teaching style
Lecture, group activities, paired activities, in-class practice and conversation. Both English and Spanish will be used in class. Sharing of experiences, opinions and ideas.
Homework, participation and attendance
individual and group presentations, active participation in class, written and oral tests and quizzes.
Background and other interests:
I have degrees in Spanish and International Relations. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer for 3 years in Bolivia. I am the Director of Outreach at the University of Kansas Cancer Center. I travel extensively, enjoy photography and my dogs.
