Christa Wessel, MHA/ED, EMT, has over 28 years of experience in the medical field as a clinic manager, insurance billing/coding, and research to name a few aspects of her career. She has been at JCCC since 2015 as an adjunct professor in the Business Office Technology Department and since 2021 as a lab instructor in the Emergency Medical Science Department. She is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Greater Kansas City Chapter. Being able to share her knowledge with students about the medical field is one of her greatest professional accomplishments.
