Checking Out Resources in the SRC

With your JCCC identification card you can check out a model to study for anatomy, botany or zoology. It’s a great option for kinesthetic learners.

SRC Models

  • All models can be used in the Science Resource Center, but may not be removed from the center.
  • You will need to provide your JCCC ID card to check out models.
  • All models should be checked out from the front desk. The checked-out items must be checked back in before leaving the center.
  • You will be able to check out a maximum of two models at one time.

SRC Books

  • Books can be checked out from the front desk using your JCCC ID.  Books should be checked back in before leaving the center.
  • All books must be used inside the center and will be considered lost if taken outside of the resource center.
  • If the book is lost, you will be responsible for the full cost of the book.

SRC Calculators

  • You will need your JCCC ID card to check out calculators for use in the center as well as outside the center.
  • Calculators will need to be returned within 24 hours from the time they are checked out from the center. If calculators are not returned within 24 hours, they will be considered lost and you will be responsible for the full cost of the calculator.

SRC Case Classroom Policies

  • You will need to sign in and out with your JCCC ID card when your class meets in the case classroom.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed inside the case classroom.
  • Children are not allowed in the case classroom.
