The JCCC Language Resource Center, located in the Academic Resource Center on the first floor of the Billington Library, can help you learn a foreign language with support and resources for your success.

Available to all students currently enrolled at JCCC, you may get help in your current course, brush up on your skills in between language courses, and prepare for the next semester.

Take advantage of free resources to help you succeed:

  • Services –Meet with a qualified language tutor to increase your skills in your language of study.
  • Resources – Explore films, videos, reading materials and other tools to make learning a language even more effective.

To meet with an LRC tutor, review our semester schedule to see when your target language tutor will be available.  With tutors in American Sign Language, Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish, you will have support from the LRC in your language learning journey. You may meet with a tutor online or in the LRC.
