Save time and money with ACCUPLACER Prep

Before you take JCCC’s ACCUPLACER test to ensure you register for the right classes, visit the AAC to prepare for the test. You will receive a personal study plan, you'll have opportunities to practice on the computer and you'll benefit from ongoing feedback as you work the program. Improve your score and save time and money!

Plan to spend 50 minutes in your Smart Start session. If you do not see a time that works for your schedule, email to schedule a special Smart Start time. Sign up for a session by clicking the link below. This link will prompt you to sign in to Penji through your JCCC SSO (Single Sign On). 

If it is your first time using Penji: The first time you access Penji, you will see a pop-up that asks you to create an account. Click the “Create Account” button to move forward. Then, use your JCCC SSO to sign in. For help accessing Penji for the first time, please watch this tutorial.

If you have used Penji before: Click the link below and sign in with your JCCC SSO (Single Sign On).” Click “Join Event,” select a time and delivery method (in-person or online) that works for you, and click “Join Event” again.

Schedule a Smart Start

Prepare for your first test with the assistance of professors in the AAC. Enjoy the friendly, low-stress and academically focused environment of the AAC.

Receive up to 90 minutes per week of free one-on-one tutoring in any of your courses. Contact the AAC for more information about AAC Tutoring.

Take 1-credit classes in basic skills essential for college success. Ask the AAC about available classes.
