Randy WeberOVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce has selected 35 business professionals to participate in its 2017 Leadership Overland Park program.

Among them is Randy Weber, vice president of student success and engagement at Johnson County Community College. Weber joined the college in 2015 after serving as a vice president at Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado and Allen Community College in Kansas. He earned his doctorate in education from Baker University.

The leadership program is designed to provide a source of motivated leaders informed about the community and its issues, and trained to accept future leadership roles in the community.

Class members attend 10 full-day sessions beginning in January and graduate in June. They meet local leaders and study aspects of the community including city, county and state government, history, education, politics and current issues impacting the local community, region and state.
