Teaching style
Teaching style Class time will be on the target language. A mix of communicative, grammar, lecture, group and pair activities. Students take an active role during class.

Homework, participation and attendance
FL230: Homework & compositions 20%, connect -10%, attendance & class participation 10%

Tests and quizzes
Chapter exams- 35% and final exam 15%, quizzes 10%. No make-up tests or quizzes allowed unless it is an excused absence. 

FL231: Homework 15%, compositions and final project 20%, attendance & class participation 10% Tests & Quizzes: Chapter tests- 30% & final exam- 15%. No make-up tests or quizzes allowed unless it is an excused absence.
