Instructors have provided the following information to generally describe what to expect in their classes.

Teaching style
Class time is focused on communicative activities in pairs and groups, with students actively engaged in interpersonal communication. 

Homework, participation and attendance
Focused practice in and out of class, including making mistakes along the way, is essential for acquiring language. 

Students will receive feedback on their progress through vocabulary quizzes and assessments of listening and reading comprehension, and writing and speaking proficiency.

Background and other interests
Pickleball and yoga.

I have volunteered with Amigos de las Américas in Costa Rica, studied in Toledo and Madrid, Spain, and taught English in the Amazon River Basin of Peru for a year. I have chaperoned student trips to Spain, Mexico, and Peru.

I am a full-time high school teacher, where I teach Spanish and sponsor Latinos of Tomorrow.
