My teaching philosophy is to make language learning meaningful for each student.

Through the class, you will learn how to increase your proficiency, and make the language more useful and effective with good understanding about the culture to support your communication.

Background
Earned a BA in Japanese teaching from Kobe University, and an MA in Japanese Pedagogy from Columbia University.

Have a long experience in teaching Japanese in proficiency-based methods to US diplomats and other agency officials.
