Instructors have provided the following information to generally describe what to expect in their classes.

Chemistry

Class format

Chem 122 consists of a hybrid format. Lectures and quizzes are available online, and laboratory activities occur during regular face-to-face lab meetings. Students are expected to have read the corresponding assigned textbook reading and watched the lecture videos before attending lab.

Resource Use

The textbook, a non-graphing calculator, and the laboratory manual are class resources.

Assessment

Lecture unit exams are administered during four of the laboratory meetings, as well as a cumulative final exam. A lab exam is also administered during the semester.

Homework Policy:

Homework is assigned and is to be completed by the given due date.

Attendance Policy

Attendance at laboratory meetings is required. Students who miss the deadline for completing online quizzes cannot make them up at a later date.
