Resource use
Textbook is recommended to supplement the lecture (or if you are absent), and to use for study questions and organization of notes.

Science Resource Center (SRC) is available in CLB 112A for additional tutoring and for practice outside of class.
Assessment
600 total points from a minimum of six lecture exams
170 total points from a minimum of six assignments, quizzes, or in-class activities
280 total points from a minimum of twenty-eight laboratory exercises
150 total points from a minimum of three laboratory practical exams
1,200 possible points altogether
Homework policy
Homework will be periodically assigned through the semester. Assignments will be announced in class and posted to the course D2L site.
Attendance policy
Attendance is required. Every class period will have a test or a lab exercise; these may not be made up without a college-approved absence.
Availability
I am available shortly before and after class each day, as well as in posted office hours. I am available by email, and will normally respond to email the day you send it to me.
