The Social Impact and Leadership Program combines community service, leadership training, social justice awareness and coursework to encourage and equip you to become an active leader in your community.

What will I learn in JCCC's Social Impact and Leadership Program?

Start conversations and build your resume from your experiences in this program. You will gain a deeper understanding of civic engagement, social justice and moral development. You could even develop your own person philosophy to match your new leadership skills.

Activities you might observe and participate in during the program are:

  • Watching board meetings of nonprofit agencies
  • Becoming an officer of a club or organization
  • Writing a letter to a politician
  • Completing a job shadow or internship
  • Meeting other leaders in programs
  • Presenting a paper at a conference
