Know Before You Go
Latecomers are seated at the discretion of the artist and house management.
Knowledge of show content and appropriateness is assumed when you purchase your tickets. Content which may be objectionable cannot be used as a reason to receive a refund or any type of compensation for tickets already purchased, including season tickets. Once purchased, tickets may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged if you do not like, are offended by, or find anything objectionable regarding the content of the performance purchased. To learn more about the performance you are attending, please visit the Upcoming Events page of our website.
Attire
The Midwest Trust Center does not have an official dress code, and patrons arrive in all styles of dress. Some performances can be a bit dressier than others, but we encourage our patrons to wear what makes them feel most comfortable and excited to celebrate their favorite artists.
Parking
Parking is free at the Midwest Trust Center, but give yourself time to arrive, park, and get comfortable in your seat. View a campus map, including parking locations, accessible parking, and accessible entrances. Accessible parking is available in front of MTC and in the garages below, with elevator access to both the lobby and theater levels.
Arrival
For most events, theatre doors open 30 minutes before the start time. Please check the preshow email sent to all event ticket holders 48 hours before the event.
Midwest Trust Center performances are rarely canceled for inclement weather. If you want to check before you travel to the theatre, please call the MTC Box Office and select option 4 to hear any weather-related updates impacting performances.
Refreshments
Refreshments are available at most events. Food is not permitted in the theatres. Beverages are allowed in the theatres but MUST HAVE A LID.
Smoking and Electronic Cigarettes

Children
Children are welcome to attend performances appropriate for their age and maturity level. Final determination of what is appropriate rests with the parent or guardian. While we endeavor to provide you with accurate information to make such determinations, please be aware program descriptions in print or on our website are often provided by the performers, and the nature of our contractual relationship with them requires us, in most cases, to print them verbatim. Fire and life safety codes requires that all children – regardless of age – must have a ticket for all ticketed events.
Cell Phones and Other Recording Devices
As a common courtesy to the artists and other audience members, and due to contractual requirements, the use of the following is prohibited, unless otherwise indicated before the event: cell phones, text messaging, camera phones, videotaping, sound-recording devices, cameras. Patrons may still access the online programs via a smart device, but please be respectful of those around you.
For the duration of the performance, please silence cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, or any other noisemaking device.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the Midwest Trust Center Box Office in person 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before curtain. The MTC does not add any fees on top of your ticket price online, by phone, or in person; the price listed is the price you pay. The MTC Box Office is the only official seller for events in Yardley Hall and Polsky Theatre. If you purchase tickets from a third-party seller, we cannot guarantee that you are purchasing legitimate tickets, and re-sellers frequently charge more than the face value of the ticket.
For select performances, the Midwest Trust Center offers a discount for groups of 11 or more. Look for the Group Discount (11+) price code when purchasing online or call the MTC Box Office.
Tickets available the day of the performance are first-come, first-served. If an event is sold out in advance, a notice will be added to the individual performance’s event page. Cash, credit card, and debit card are accepted forms of payment.
The Midwest Trust Center offers mail, print-at-home, mobile, and will call options for most performances. If you chose “Print at Home or Mobile” as your delivery method, there will be a blue box in your confirmation email from etix.com that says, “View tickets.” Click the blue box to open your tickets. From there you can add them to a digital wallet or save them to your phone. If you have digital tickets, you can skip the Box Office and go straight to the theater doors where Vol*Stars will scan the ticket on your phone. Please make sure the brightness on your phone is turned up so our scanners can read the barcode.
If you leave your ticket at home, please visit the MTC Box Office in the MTC lobby. The Box Office opens one hour before the curtain.
If you are unable to attend an event after your purchase, you can donate your tickets for resale by emailing the Box Office at tickets@jccc.edu. You may also give your great seats to a friend or family member as a gift! There are no exchanges, refunds, or cancellations on single-ticket purchases.
