Kadesh and Dino

MTC Kids Jam – Kadesh Flow & Dinosaur O’Dell

11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 | Polsky Theatre

Free – no tickets required.

The MTC Kids Jam concert series is specially designed with families in mind! Join us in the MTC lobby at 10 a.m. for art activities led by StoneLion Puppet Theatre, followed by a 60-minute concert with an acclaimed children’s musician.

This music and storytelling show focuses on the cultural diversity of planet Earth. Using geography as a guide, Kadesh and Dino travel the world, experiencing food (eating snails in France), language (does anybody speak Japanese?), games (the cheese-wheel races of New Zealand) and other interesting cultural phenomena.

When Kadesh and Dino have problems with each other, they must listen, learn and communicate to solve their own personal misunderstandings. Besides combining geography and culture, the show models social-emotional learning strategies and ties it all together with music and stories.
