Heartland Chamber Music Festival Concerts

August 2, 2022 - August 6, 2022 | Yardley Hall and Polsky Theatre

Past Event

Each summer, pianists and string players ages 12 – 30 audition and are selected to work one-on-one with internationally renowned faculty. They cap off their experience by performing in Yardley Hall.

Gifted young student artists have been selected to participate in the Festival Scholars program, in which they are awarded a full scholarship to receive intensive quartet coaching from the festival’s world-renowned faculty artists.

Festival students have also been selected to perform in the Camerata Chamber Orchestra, a conductor-less ensemble. The performances of the two Festival Scholars quartets and the Camerata Chamber Orchestra will be featured and broadcast on Kansas Public Radio during the festival.

All of the concerts – except the Escher String Quartet on August 3 – are free and open to the public. Purchase tickets for the Escher concert at the Box Office or online.
