Four-time Grammy winner will mesmerize with his blues and jazz roots and crossover pop/rock sensibility.

Legendary guitar great Larry Carlton amazes audiences with his unmistakable sound marked by warm tones, bright melodies and soulful guitar solos. Carlton recorded his first album, “With A Little Help from My Friends,” in 1968. While performing on 13 of The Crusaders’ albums in the early 1970s, he released his second solo project, “Singing/Playing.”

He recorded six solo albums for Warner Brothers before debuting with rock powerhouse Steely Dan. In the mid-’80s, he ventured into jazz, releasing several albums. In 1995, his collaboration with guitar great Lee Ritenour garnered him his eighth Grammy nomination. Carlton’s artistry spans four decades and is destined to leave a mark on the jazz, blues, pop and rock worlds.

Enthusiastic industry response earned him a place among jingle singers for companies such as Ford Motor Company, and his demand as a session player grew quickly with stars such as Sammy Davis Jr., Joni Mitchell and John Lennon. Before transitioning to a solo career, Carlton became one of the most in-demand studio musicians of the past four decades.
