Follow Peter and his friends as they start snowball fights, make snow angels and play in the snow in this uplifting musical about childhood joys and living life to the fullest each day.

Adapted by Jerome Hairston
Based on the Caldecott Award-winning book by Ezra Jack Keats.
Featuring Zachery Garner and Shawna Peña-Downing.

Using inventive puppetry, the Mesner Puppet Theater (MPT) brings Keats’ stories to life in this charming collection featuring “Whistle for Willie,” “Goggles!,” “A Letter to Amy” and “The Snowy Day.”

Over the past three decades, MPT has captivated nearly 2 million people through its productions and educational programming. Audiences delight in the craftsmanship of the puppets, which range from glove puppets to marionettes to innovative shadow- and object-based puppetry. MPT uses humor and heart to present stories that connect to the complex social-emotional experiences of young audiences.

MPT holds the distinction of receiving three Union Internationale de la Marionette (UNIMA-USA) Citations of Excellence. The UNIMA-USA award was created by Jim Henson to promote high quality puppetry in the U.S. and is considered the “Academy Award” of puppetry.
