A JCCC Theatre Department production in collaboration with Midwest Trust Center's Arts Education Department

On the streets of “Little Havana,” Manola and his friends enjoy playing baseball rain or shine. But when the ball goes over the fence to Señora Arńiella's yard, the boys are too afraid to go and ask for it back. She is mean, eats little kids, and has 20 cats! When Abuelo Enrique tells them the story of “El Tiburón,” the story of a shark who is misunderstood, they learn that we shouldn't always judge someone based on what others have said.

This production will not be a live performance. Instead, it will be filmed in collaboration with Midwest Trust Center and made available online. Educators will receive a prerecorded video link to share with their class at a time of their choosing. Registration also includes online access to accompanying supplemental education materials.
