If you’re interested in pursuing music education, becoming a full-time professional musician, or are a novice musical aficionado, the Music and Recording Arts program at JCCC is the perfect spot for you. Build a portfolio

The Recording Arts program at JCCC provides a certificate of completion for students who successfully complete the following courses:

Students who complete the coursework should have a solid background in music fundamentals, MIDI and audio. A successful student should be able to set up, conduct, mix and master recording sessions from basic to advanced levels. The end goal is for interested student musicians to have compiled a portfolio of their creative work, to be used for personal, commercial or academic purposes.

JCCC also offers cutting-edge technology that allows you to record original music at no extra charge with state-of-the-art technology.

Learn essential skills by using software such as ProTools, the industry-standard in digital audio production. You will have access to individual workstations, a digital mixing board, a ProTools HD system and two recording booths to record vocal, drum and instrumental tracks.
