My Name is Chris E. and I am a former Marine Sergeant with almost 10 years of active service. I am currently a disabled Veteran as well.
In the fall of 2019, I began looking at numerous CDL training schools in the Kansas area. I researched several in my immediate area of Salina, Kansas as well. It became very obvious to me that there was and is a strong need for truck drivers that in our country right now.
I reached out to a few of the schools that were closer to my home in Salina, but I also reached out to Bob McNay with JCCC. He was the last call / email I made in regards to requesting information on the CDL courses at each of these institutions. Surprisingly, he was the first to respond. Some of the others did not respond until almost two weeks later.
I spoke with Mr. McNay on the phone at length. It became apparent to me the level of detail and attention that he takes in his job. I was so impressed with him and his level of professionalism, that after our conversation, I decided that JCCC would be perfect for the training I required.
Due to COVID, my class start date was pushed back, but Mr. McNay made sure to keep in touch and kept me up to date on any new information regarding my enrollment. Once the class started, I began with part of the course online, via video conference with the instructors and other classmates. I would also drive 2 1/2 hours to Kansas City every weekend for the driving portion of the course.
In my time with JCCC, everyone was very helpful and courteous. Even after graduating, my employer needed information on my training with JCCC. Everyone was still just as helpful and professional.
I am extremely impressed with the level of professionalism, the level of knowledge and quite frankly the individual pride that each and every one of the instructors and staff exhibited through my time in this course. Each and every person I worked with at the school reflected great credit to JCCC and the CDL course in which they were involved. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone else. In fact, I spoke with one of my sons about looking into it himself.
