FOCUS2Career Assessment

This free online assessment is available to all JCCC students, alums and community members.

This online experience combines self-assessment, career and major exploration, decision making and action planning in one comprehensive, intuitive career planning dashboard. It’s designed to help you summarize your interests, skills, values and personality.

  • Choose self-assessments that measure your interests, values, skills and more.
  • Discover and explore occupations, career paths and education programs compatible with your personal attributes.
  • Create a record of the different occupations and training programs that you can refer back to at any time.

JCCC students, once you've completed your assessments, schedule a follow-up session with the Career Development Center at careerdevelopment@jccc.edu or 913-469-3870 to discuss your results.

You possess many talents – the specific ways in which you naturally think, feel and behave. Find out the top five talents that represent the best of you to ensure greater opportunities for success in college, your career and your personal life.

This assessment is given free of charge to students who attend the Discover Your Strengths Workshop.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

This online test assesses your personality type preferences and compares them with type preferences for various occupations.

Strong Interest Inventory (SII)

This online assessment uses the theory of John Holland, who studied the relationship between interests and careers, to deliver career insights and direction.
