The Midwest Trust Center and JCCC want to protect the safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors. JCCC will follow CDC guidelines for facial coverings and social distance.

Please refer to our Wellness Self-Check and Campus Guidelines to keep everyone safe.

Our 2021 Reopening Plan includes the following event safety protocols:

ON-SITE SAFETY

  • JCCC will follow CDC guidelines regarding social distancing and facial coverings.
  • Temperature kiosks will be available at venue entrances.
  • Sanitizer stations are provided throughout the venue.
  • All seating is reserved.
  • We are currently limiting capacity in venues.
  • If you are feeling ill, please stay home.

TICKETS

1. Events will go on sale a few months at a time to allow flexibility in seating from show to show.
2. All tickets will be sold for a single performance, with no season packages for fall events.

  • Past subscribers and Friends of MTC will receive early access before the general public.
  • There will be no discounts and no minimum number of events required to purchase.

3. Seating is socially distanced between groups.

BY PHONE

4. Please call the Box Office at 913-469-4445 for optimum seating arrangements. This is
especially recommended for groups of five or more.

ONLINE

5. All seats will appear socially distanced on the theatre map. Please purchase the number of seats you need in a single row.
6. MTC Box Office staff will consolidate seating within your original selection before distributing your tickets.

AT THE PERFORMANCE

  1. To avoid lines, the house will open one hour before curtain. Please arrive as early as possible.
  2. Volunteers and lobby signage will direct you to the entrance closest to your seat.
  3. Programs will be available digitally.
  4. We will limit our pre-show events, and there will be no intermission.
  5. COVID-level post-show cleaning will be done backstage, in the theatre and in restrooms.
  6. Air handling and ventilation have been upgraded for safety.
