COVID-19 Midwest Trust Center Updates
Updated August 17, 2021

March 14, 2020 - October 31, 2021

The Midwest Trust Center and JCCC want to protect the safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors. Please follow COVID-19 guidelines while on campus.

Updated Guidance Concerning Facial Coverings on Campus

JCCC will require facial coverings in all indoor spaces even when members of the public may not be present. This is similar to past requirements that were effective in preserving our learning environment and protecting us all.

Facial coverings are required in all indoor spaces. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Public indoor spaces, including any public service areas frequented or visited by members of the public such as lobbies, hallways, stairways, restrooms, food/beverage areas and anytime lines form to enter public indoor spaces.
  • Classrooms and other face-to-face indoor meetings and events.
  • Work areas where more than one person shares the same space, including common work areas, office suites, meeting and conference rooms, etc.
  • Private offices whenever someone else enters the office space. If an individual is alone in their office, facial coverings are not required.

TICKETS

  1. Events will go on sale a few months at a time to allow flexibility in seating from show to show.
  2. All tickets will be sold for a single performance, with no season packages for fall events.
    • Past subscribers and Friends of MTC will receive early access before the general public.
    • There will be no discounts and no minimum number of events required to purchase.
  3. Seating is socially distanced between groups.

BY PHONE

  1. Please call the Box Office at 913-469-4445 for optimum seating arrangements. This is
especially recommended for groups of five or more.

ONLINE

  1. All seats will appear socially distanced on the theatre map. Please purchase the number of seats you need in a single row.
  2. MTC Box Office staff will consolidate seating within your original selection before distributing your tickets.

AT THE PERFORMANCE

  • To avoid lines, the house will open 30 minutes before curtain. Please arrive as early as possible.
  • Volunteers and lobby signage will direct you to the entrance closest to your seat.
  • Programs will be available digitally.
  • We will limit our pre-show events, and there will be no intermission.
  • COVID-level post-show cleaning will be done backstage, in the theatre and in restrooms.
  • Air handling and ventilation have been upgraded for safety.
