- Kansas Regents recognize JCCC with data award
June 9, 2016
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College was honored Wednesday with a data quality award by the Kansas Board of Regents.
The award, now in its fourth year, serves as a way to recognize institutions for excellence in the quality of data submitted and the timeliness of submissions. Awards are given each June to the two institutions with superior ratings. The second institution that was recognized was Seward County Community College.
Accepting the award on behalf of JCCC was Natalie Alleman Beyers, director of Institutional Planning & Research at JCCC. The awards were presented by Blake Flanders, president and CEO of the Kansas Board of Regents, during a luncheon during the Kansas Board of Regents 2016 Data Quality and Planning Conference.
"Strong data reporting is critical to our success in serving students, their parents, the Board of Regents, the Legislature and the governor," Flanders said, "and only possible through a well-orchestrated effort by so many dedicated individuals. We appreciate and congratulate these institutions on the standard of quality and teamwork this award represents."
