Under Jack Robinson's tenure as president and managing partner of Black & Veatch, the company grew to become one of Kansas City’s largest and most successful, achieving worldwide prominence.

Robinson exemplified civic leadership. He served as one of the original members of the College's Board of Trustees and also worked long hours for the Heart of America Boy Scouts, United Way, Saint Luke's Hospital and Midwest Research Institute.
