Struggling in a class? Explore the possibilities. Make informed decisions.

Choose a session:

  • Session 1: 1-2 p.m.
  • Session 2: 2-3 p.m.

The last day to request a pass/fail grade option or withdraw from a full-semester Spring 2023 course is Monday, Apr. 17. If you are not performing well in a class, join counselors Bruce Harvey and Erin Walters for an informative presentation.

To accommodate your schedule, two identical presentations will be offered, at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

We’ll define and discuss the pros and cons of:

  • Changing to a pass/fail grade option
  • Withdrawing from a course
  • Repeating a course

We encourage you to visit with a counselor before making your decision. To schedule an appointment, call 913-469-3809, or visit the Counseling webpage for all the ways to connect with a counselor.

Do you receive financial aid? Be sure to visit with the Financial Aid department to see how withdrawing from and/or failing a course might affect your funding.

Are you an international student? You must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Visit with International and Immigrant Student Services (IISS) and your counselor to learn more.
