Share your inspiring stories and strategies for veteran student success

Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is hosting the Student Veterans of America’s (SVA) Kansas City Regional Conference (KCReCon). KCReCon offers conference attendees informative programming, inspirational speakers and networking opportunities to local chapters.

Topics to Consider

The committee is seeking interactive and engaging proposals for 30-minute to one-hour breakout sessions that will inspire and empower conference attendees during and after the conference. Topics should showcase:

  • Emerging trends in strategies for veteran student success and transition from college into civilian life
  • New ideas and best practices related to chapter/club management
  • Strategies for building and sustaining a student veterans organization within a higher education institution
  • Student-veteran stories and their experiences during their educational life cycle – to, through and beyond college
