One of Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, Randolph's pedal-steel jam band blends rock, funk, soul and jazz.

Named one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time by Rolling Stone, Robert Randolph and his Family Band bring the pedal steel/jam band sound to Yardley Hall. It’s a blend of rock, funk, soul, jazz and good old jamming—what Randolph calls a true music art form scene where you can just be who you are. His style inspires the likes of Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and Derek Trucks, all of whom have played with Randolph and studied his technique. Robert Randolph has a long history in gospel music. He’s one of the well-known “sacred steel” players out there (using lap steel guitar for church music). His newest album, “Brighter Days,” was released on August 23. The tour is to support this release, and the show will include new music as well as hits from the past.
