Prospective EMS/MICT students who have not attended JCCC before — or if it has been more than two years since you last attended — must complete a JCCC application for admission. The application is the first step in the enrollment process; select Non-Degree Seeking or Liberal Arts for your major. Please select the Spring 2020 term.

After you received your JCCC ID number:

  1. Please download the MICT Program Application Instruction Packet
  2. Complete the MICT/EMS application (application period closes at 4 p.m. Oct. 1).

  3. Arrange for official transcripts to be sent directly to JCCC from previous college with transferable coursework. It is not necessary to request JCCC transcripts or transcripts already on file at JCCC.

  4. You must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

  5. Submit the Disclosure and Consent for Background Check form.

  6. Submit your KS, MO and NR EMT card (or eligibility to test) and your AHA HCP BLS Card with your application or email to Admissions.

  7. Submit your Work History Form with your application or email it to Admissions.

  8. Monitor your personal admissions plan on your MyJCCC account and your student email for information on your application status.

It may take 5 business days for your application to be processed; please email Admissions if you apply for general admission within 10 days of the posted deadline.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure all materials are received in the Admissions office on or before the October 1 deadline. In order to notify applicants of the status of their file, it is strongly recommended that the application be submitted one month in advance of the deadline, and applicants should review their personal admission plan frequently.

All questions concerning the admission process should be directed to the Admissions Office at 913-469-3438.
