Our bridge classes help you prepare for the ACCUPLACER test and get ready for college-level courses. Your ACCUPLACER score will help you choose classes that match your current skill level, giving you your best opportunity to succeed.

The ACCUPLACER tests are unique — you can't "pass" the ACCUPLACER math test. There's no score you must reach to "pass" the ACCUPLACER reading comprehension test.

These tests evaluate your current skills so you can start in the courses matched to your current abilities. Our noncredit classes help get you ready for the tests — and help you develop fundamental skills that will prepare you for college-level classes.

We have classes that start every August and every January. We suggest that you first meet with a Johnson County Community College counselor, who can recommend whether you’d benefit from these courses. You'll find the counselors in the Student Success Center on the second floor of the Student Center on the JCCC campus. You can make an appointment by calling 913-469-3809.

Students currently enrolled in high school are ineligible.
