The Veterans Club is an inclusive, non-partisan group that supports all JCCC students connected to military services, active duty, veterans, Reserve, Guard and their dependents.

The club's purpose is to provide networking, social activities and opportunities to participate in community service and to further the advancement of veterans in higher education.

National Remembrance Roll Call

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2011, we will be reading off ALL of the names of KIA since 9/11 for all branches, including civilians, that were part of OIF OEF.

There are approximately 105 other school across the nation participating in this event. JCCC is the only school in Kansas and the closest school to the metro area. The closest participating school to JCCC is State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Mo.

This should take the full nine hours as we have approximately 6,200 names to read off.

We will be having volunteers read in 15 minute segments that will consist of 250 names.
