Student Leadership Program and Events
By participating in this leadership program, you will have an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills while attending presentations and workshops provided by key management and experts in career advising.If you are a current JCCC student, you may be eligible to participate in this leadership program. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required. The workshops will be facilitated key leaders and mentors in the industry as well as JCCC faculty and staff.
Certificate Completion
You will earn a certificate when you participate in a majority of the 10 to 12 workshops and events offered during the fall or spring semester. The first workshop is an orientation which will provide details about the program and introduce you to the topic of leadership. The remaining sessions will focus on topics related to leadership such as, how to conduct meetings, organization/time management, presentations/public speaking, discovering your strengths, and much more.

Enhancing your leadership skills will help you excel in any endeavor that you wish to pursue. Becoming a leader will develop confidence and and encourage others to depend on your for guidance whether it is work or volunteer related opportunities. Your Leadership Certificate will we will be a notable accomplishment that will assist you during the application process to higher education into programs at notable universities and provide an advantage to future employment.
