Keeping Our People Safe Program (KOPS)

Keeping Our People Safe, also known as KOPS, is an all-hazard planning strategy for emergency preparedness efforts here at JCCC.


The KOPS Program is outlined in the four modules below.

KOPS-WATCH
Early detection and prevention strategy for reporting and managing suspicious behaviors and activity

KOPS-ALERT
Campus emergency notification systems and procedures for keeping everyone informed

KOPS-ZONE
Pre-identified locations of where you should go during an emergency (i.e. emergency assembly areas, storm security areas)

KOPS-PLANS
Detailed plans that define teams, procedures and guidance for prevention/mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery
