The Fieldhouse is open to anyone with a valid JCCC ID. Student Organizations can use the Fieldhouse during normal business hours. (There are times when the Fieldhouse is closed for safety reasons during normal business hours due to the type of events that are taking place.) Please call ext. 4635 during normal business hours to see if there are courts available. If Student Organizations are simply getting together to participate in an activity – Ultimate Frisbee, Dodgeball, etc. – during the regular Fieldhouse hours, they simply need to bring their student ID to utilize the facility – advisors do not need to be present as there is a regular Facility Supervisor on duty to handle issues.
If Student Organizations are hosting an event – i.e. Dodgeball Tournament, Frisbee Tournament – the advisor must be present and students must show their IDs. If participants are not JCCC students, they must sign a waiver at a table staffed by members of the organization (the CSI can provide you with the waivers). The waivers will be retained for each event in the Center for Student Involvement. Events must be held during regular Fieldhouse hours. Exceptions to this will be taken on a case-by-case basis and if allowed, will result in charge backs to the club or organization for required services.
5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday
6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday
Production meetings must happen for any event. Those present at the meeting should be the Manager of the Student Life and Leadership Development or his/her designee, the advisor for the Student Organization, and Jim Dice, HPER Facility and Clinic Coordinator.
