Who are we?
Service learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities.
Students learn the practical applications of their studies; they become actively contributing citizens and community members through the service they perform and this assists them in meeting their course objectives.
Academic Service Learning
A variety of courses offer service learning as a teaching strategy in their courses. Contact Mary Smith in the Community Based Learning office for current course offerings.
International Service Learning
