Science Resource Center Rules
Student ID: You must have a JCCC ID that is valid for the current semester in order to use the Science Resource Center and any of its materials. You will not be allowed in the SRC without your JCCC ID. You can get or validate a student ID at the second floor circulation desk in the library (LIB) or the Information Desk on the main floor of the Student Center.
Lab monitors: Lab monitors are there to make sure the SRC is a friendly and productive work environment for all of our students. Please respect the monitors and comply with their requests. If you have to be warned more than once about inappropriate behavior in the SRC you may lose access to the Center and its study materials until you have met with the dean of Science.
No food or drink: Absolutely no food, beverages (including water) or tobacco products will be allowed in the Science Resource Center. You may enter and exit freely through CLB 112A. Please consume any food or beverage in the hallway outside of CLB 112A or beyond. You may leave drinks on the counter in front of the lab monitor's desk.
No children: Only students with a valid JCCC ID for the current semester may use the SRC. To minimize possible distractions for the students in the Center, no children of any age are permitted.
No noise: You should be considerate of others studying in the Resource Center at all times. If you're in a study group, you should be especially mindful of the noise level of your group.
