The purpose of the Science Resource Center (SRC) is to provide life science and physical science students the opportunity for independent study. Free tutoring in anatomy, biology, chemistry, geology and physics is available to all students.  

Any JCCC student who is enrolled in a biological or physical science class during the current semester may use the SRC. Study partners other than individuals enrolled in science courses are not permitted in the Center.

You must have a valid JCCC student ID

Tutors

Free tutoring in anatomy, biology, chemistry, geology and physics is available to all students. 

Don't hesitate to ask for assistance if you need it. 

Study Aids

Lab Equipment
Microscopes and slides are available for biology and chemistry students

Models
Anatomy, botany and zoology models are available for student checkout. You need to have a valid student ID and the model must be returned in the same condition as when it was lent in order to get your ID back. See the model checkout procedure.

Study Software
A variety of study software is available for biology and physical science students.  

Textbooks
Textbooks and solution manuals are available for most science courses and must be used in the SRC.
