Request Verification of Enrollment

Verification of enrollment is often needed for health insurance, good student discounts for car insurance and housing applications.

To request a verification of your enrollment, complete a Verification of Enrollment Form (PDF). You may return this completed form to the Success Center in person or mail or fax to the JCCC Records office. Faxes will be processed as daily mail arrival and not given priority.

Current semester enrollment verifications cannot be provided until classes have been in session for one week.

Student Loan Deferment and Employment Verifications

The National Student Clearinghouse has been authorized to do these verifications. All forms received will be mailed directly to this organization for processing. Degree enrollment verifications for employment purposes will also be directed to the National Student Clearinghouse for verification.

Self-Paced Classes

You are permitted to take up to one year to complete a self-paced class. Credit hours are transcribed only on the semester of your initial enrollment, not the semester of completion.

Concurrent Enrollment for High School and Home School Students

JCCC will provide verification to the high school that the student is attending and making progress in the college course. Refer to Substitute House Bill 1022, passed by the 1993 Kansas Legislature for more information on this bill.

If students are home-schooled, the same information may be released to the home-school administrator. If students have questions regarding this policy, they should contact the dean of Student Services.
