Graduation with Honors
Graduation with Honors (for associate's degrees) - If you earn 30 hours at JCCC and have a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average in all JCCC hours attempted, you will be graduated with honors. JCCC hours will be used to calculate honors designation.
Graduation with Honors (for certificates) - If the certificate totals 24 hours or more and you have a 3.5 or higher JCCC GPA, you will graduate with honors.
Civic Honors Program - The civic honors program combines course work, training, organizational activities, community service and reflection. Students who meet the qualifications will be able to graduate with civic honors, recognizing their efforts and achievements within the community. Civic honors students will receive special recognition at the commencement ceremony.
Honors Program - JCCC through its commitment to excellence continues to develop high quality, comprehensive educational programs that earn national recognition. The Honors Program is designed to stimulate and challenge academically talented students to develop their intellectual potential and become active members of their academic community.
