Jim Brickman cancels show at JCCC

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Jim Brickman's Celebration of the '70s, which had been scheduled to take place March 29 at Johnson County Community College, has been cancelled.

The college was notified Thursday that the show would not go on because of scheduling conflicts, said Emily Behrmann, general manager of the college's Performing Arts Series. Anyone who has purchased a ticket will be contacted by the college and receive a refund.

Patrons who have questions can contact the college box office at 913-469-4445.

When the performance was announced in November, Brickman said that the show would include five special guests, including Rita Coolidge, David Pack of the band Ambrosia and 70s pop-icon Yvonne Elliman.
