Baseball – Cavaliers remain in first place

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 9 ranked Cavaliers baseball team survived a tough stretch of games to remain in first place in the Kansas Jayhawk East Division. JCCC split a pair of four-game series against No. 5 Neosho County and perennial conference power Cowley, and lead the conference race by one game.

Johnson County’s schedule doesn’t get much easier this week. The Cavaliers have a four-game home-and-home series against No. 17 Coffeyville, Thursday and Saturday, April 3rd and 5th.

Johnson County is 16-4 in conference play, and stand 26-8 overall.
