JCCC president gives annual State of the College presentation

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College president Terry Calaway will deliver his annual State of the College presentation at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in Polsky Theatre of the Carlsen Center, JCCC.

Calaway gives his State of the College address at the beginning of the academic year instead of the beginning of the calendar year to reflect the true cycle of experience at JCCC.

His presentation, JCCC as First Choice, will look at why the college has become a first-choice institution for students and the community.

The State of the College is free and open to the public. The presentation will be followed by a reception in the Carlsen Center lobby.

The event will be available for viewing the following week on the college’s website and on its cable channels – Channel 17 (SureWest or Time Warner) or Channel 22 (Comcast).
