February session offers information about JCCC for home-schooled students and their parents
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College will host an information session for home-schooled students and their parents from 1 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, in the Regnier Center on the JCCC campus.
A panel of current JCCC students who were home-schooled will answer questions, and the program will include information about taking courses while completing a home school curriculum, as well as the years beyond home schooling.
Other topics that will be covered are admission, financial aid and scholarships. Participants will also be able to tour the JCCC campus.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Reserved parking will be available in the Regnier Center parking garage; request a space at the time you register.
