'Modern Visions' Fashion Show

JCCC fashion program announces annual fashion show on March 2

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Lights, glamour, action! The Johnson County Community College fashion merchandising and design program launches “Modern Vision,” a runway fashion show featuring student designs, at noon and 7 p.m. Friday, March 2, in Polsky Theatre at the college.

Catch the vision of 22 designers with garments ranging from edgy gothic to 70s-inspired looks to the drama of Hollywood red carpet glamour. The show includes women’s and children’s clothing as well as a special scene of dresses created for Little Dresses for Africa.

Tickets are $5 for students from any school and for JCCC employees, and $8 in advance or $10 at the door for the general public.

Groups are welcome.

A portion of the proceeds will support fashion merchandising and design scholarships.
